With an extensive tenure in Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Alfred Jeckel's professional focus is on thermal management, as well as HV battery design and testing. Commencing his journey in the realm of HVAC and engine cooling systems, he transitioned into spearheading the advancement and integration of Li-ion drive batteries for vehicles, dedicating a decade to this pursuit. Currently, he assumes the role of the Manager of battery product support of Li-Ion battery for Plug in Hybrids, as well as serving as the spokesperson for the esteemed internal working group titled "Safety of Li-Ion Batteries".
