In this comprehensive exploration, we delve into the world of e-motor design, where the integration of performance and Noise, Vibration, and Harshness analysis plays a crucial role. We uncover the common pitfall in early-stage design, where performance often takes precedence over NVH concerns, leading to later issues and additional production cycles. Hanafy will dissect the reasons behind the initial oversight, revealing that NVH problems stem from electromagnetic intricacies, showcasing the lack of experience in Multiphysics problem-solving. This presentation spotlights the approach to correct this by emphasizing right-first-time design, where NVH is seamlessly integrated into the motor’s early design stage.
